B.Line Plant hire began trading in the mid 1970's with Bill Line. Bill ran the company as a sole trader up until 1981, when Bill decided to set up B.Line as a limited company.
Since then the company grew from a small Plant hire firm into a civil engineering contractor, taking on contracts in the excess of 4 million pounds. Here are some pictures showing our history.

Image 1 This picture is from the late 80's early 90's. These are our old 941 B's and 953's we used to run.
Image 2 This image is from 1981, it's the first machine bought by Bill Line, when he started trading as a LTD Company. The young man stood on the machine is now company director and shareholder Daniel Line.
Image 3 This picture is from 1987 when we bought our first of many new CAT machines.
